• pH : 5,0 – 5,6
• ash at 800° C : 0.5 %
• loose bulk density: 0.270 - 0.330
• moisture content : 7 % - 12 % maximum

Chemical properties

• cellulose: 45 - 50 %
• hemicellulose: 20 - 25 %
• lignin: 22 - 27 %

Determination of the grain dimension

Average size of particles : 9 mm – 16 mm.

Packaging

• transparent plastic bags of 15 Kg
• wrapped pallet - 36 sacks – overall pallet dimensions : 80 x 120.
